According to the National Family Strengthening Network (NFSN) a Family Resource Center is “a community hub of support, services and opportunities for families.” FRC’s are

• Strengths focused and family-centered
• Multigenerational; designed to serve the needs of all members of a household
• Reflective of community and responsive to community needs
• Low or no cost to participants
• Focused on creating an environment that encourages families to support one another and develop their social connections reducing isolation and stress. 

The Clay County Family Resource Center is here to help families find and use local resources. We can give you information, connect you with services, and help you fill out forms or applications.

We also offer family activities and support, working together with other groups in the community. Everything we offer is free and open to all families in Clay County.

The Family Resource Center is focused on serving families living in Clay County with youth under the age of 18 in their households. 

FRC is a connective tool filling gaps and not tied to eligibility, unlike many other programs.
